My host was having some problems and they finally fixed the problems in about 2 days (they had to backup and reformat the hard drives). So anyways I will be working on my new site now and after it is finished it will be the main ’showcase’ of this site. The blog will still be here though, but we will have a blog and a site.
I recently found out that I have about 13 unique visitors in a month (not a lot, but hey), and I would like to thank you for visiting! I am working on a few projects and I will release more information about them when they get more completed. Yes, they will be all freeware (aka free). Here are the type of projects I am working on: A Dream (in Furcadia) (5% done), Text based RPG (1% done), Another dream but this is a group project it will be called: ‘Psycho RPG’ and I think that’s it for now. I will be starting more projects in the future after these get finished. I thought I should keep you guys all updated on what’s going on with my projects and site. Thanks again for visiting!
I finally fixed the blog and it is working normally now! I will also be working on the site starting soon and I will keep you updated. Oh and Happy New Year!
First we went out for breakfast with my friend Karin, we went to the Waffle House. So we got to the Waffle House and we sat down. I ordered French Toast and a piece of ham. The piece of ham was THREE dollars for just a mesasly piece of ham, it was small and wasn’t very good. Karin said I had a confused look on my face when I seen that burnt up ham xD. Anyways the french toast was really good. She mostly had a buisness meeting with one of her friends. We stayed there for awhile and then we finally left and we were on our way to the Hon’s. When we got to the Hon’s I had to walk the dog (maddy) so she wouldn’t pee in the house, she ended up not going. We got in the house and I said hello to everyone, I really didn’t know anyone there except Karin’s sister. I met some intresting and nice people there. There was this teacher who taught 7th, 8th and 9th grade special ed kinda thing, she taught in Chicago. The school that she teaches in is 99% hispanic and she said that they are really well motivated and respect the teacher. She said that she really likes her job, I’ll bet. There was this one guy who works with Motorolla and makes cell phones, hes an engineer. I can’t really remember about what he said too much.
Beverly (Karin’s sister, also a computer teacher BTW) was telling Karin about the computer about the menus in Microsoft products made some interesting points about how you learn to use the top menu things and that would make it easier to learn. Like under “View” is all the viewing commands, and under “Tools” it like all the tools that you use etc. Aslio I am nicknamed “Superman fingers” because of how fast I look at all the menus, I do that because all the menus basically say the same things like “File”, “Edit”, “View” etc.. that’s how I move so fast between the menus and know where everythings at. Even in Linux it is basically the same.
We then went down the stairs to the dining room and there was lots of foods and deserts available. I even talked to someone (I am shy IRL BTW), I ended up today talked a lot more that I used to. I find it easier to talk to people if they come up to me and talk first (*hint hint*). We then finally moved to Beverly’s house and we watched “Babe in the City” it was kinda a corny movie kinda but hey it was rated “G” anyways, don’t expect too much drama in it or anything (made for kids and probably adults but mostly kids, lots of adults like that kind of stuff) but it wasn’t horrible or anything. Anyways, we talked about college and how I should talk to my School consuler about special population. What that would do for me is that, since my Dad didn’t go to college I can get tours of different colleges and find out which ones I really like. I am going to talk with her Monday. Anyways, after that we carried some stuff out to the Van and we headed home, and that is basically it. I came home and now I am herre typing this.
Now you can tell me (and everyone else) about your day, post it in the comments section if you would like. Sorry for being so long and thank you for reading! =)
I am now not dual booting anymore and fully switched to Linux, the distro I am using is called Fedora and it is based on Red Hat. I finally decided I should get rid of that blasted Windblowze XP, do you know how many times I have reinstalled Windblowze? Like 130+ times over the last 4 years, I kinda lost count afer awhile. It ususally gets really slow after awile and the crashes? Almost EVERY program crashes on the friggin’ thing. The reason I kept reinstalling because something always goes wrong and it forces me to re-install or it gets too slow to be able to stand. I have tried everything to fix it or maby I wasn’t doing something right, I don’t know. Anyways I’ve got trusty Linux now. Here are some screenshots (More screenshots coming soon..)
EDIT: Not true anymore, back in windows x.x
Welcome to my new blog! I have recreated this blog so many times, but this time it’s permanent. Anyways you might know me by the following names: Dovir (dovir.uni.cc), Travis Nojo (furcadia), and/or Shilonus (shilonus.com). I go by all three of those names. In this blog I will be blogging about a variety of things like: anime, technology, games, useful links, my projects, Furcadia news, other Furcadia stuff etc I will be starting soon, so check back in awhile. Thank you for visiting!
BTW I now have a new .com domain if you haven’t already noticed, instead of that “dovir.uni.cc”, this is better.
